Manufacturing is clearly the backbone of our state’s economy — we are known for producing anything from consumer products to electronics to medical devices worldwide. In 2011, Minnesota’s manufactured exports jumped to $18.4 billion. In 2012, we invested in our company to keep up with the growing demand for contract manufacturing technologies and services.
